Paris is called the City of Love for a reason, wherever you turn there is beauty to carry you into a romantic reverie. So much poetry encompassed in one city, so many monumental architectures, fashion haven for the modern bride. It is easy to surrender to the spellbinding charm and decide to plan your wedding in Paris. Because there are so many iconic places and choosing one might prove harder than you can imagine; we’ve curated a list of our personal favorites, offering you first-hand experience.

1. Ritz Paris

Opulence in its finest form. If you are considering a romantic grandeur entwined with luxury, this wedding venue in Paris is guaranteed to bewitch your senses. We would recommend an outdoor garden ceremony which gives you many options to tailor your fine art bridal vision, and a potential dinner in le salon d’Été.  For Meghan and Peter’s wedding , the ceremony was held in the garden and their reception continued at the Hotel le Marois.

 

2. Chateau de Villette

Located 40 minutes away from the center of Paris, Château de Villette is one of the most remarkable châteaux in France, classified as a historical landmark since 1942 by the French government.

Set in a 75ha woodland park, with two lakes, a magnificent cascade fountain, a glass house and orangery, not to mention the incredibly lavish interiors, Chateau de Villette epitomizes elegance, luxury and the famous French expression “art de vivre”.

A dream chateau destination that is a living breathing museum of fine art. Nestled on beautiful land surrounded by lavish nature and just 45 minutes from Paris; this chateau offers a plethora of choices for your grand day. Wherever you go on this estate you would be met by picturesque scenery that evokes ethereal emotions. In our opinion opting for an outdoor ceremony and dinner in the garden would be a whimsical experience. Think backdrops of gorgeous nature and architecture, warm breeze caressing your senses while you tie the knot and eternalize your love.

3. Chateau de Chantilly

French heritage, Chateau de Chantilly only hosts a few weddings every year
and is one of the most exclusive venues in France.
There are island called “island of love” surrounded by English garden to hold wedding ceremony with 100m aisle.
Chateau de Chantilly is a perfect place for a faire tale wedding.

If you are planning a wedding in Paris and want something extraordinary just 50 minutes away from the city, the Island of Love is the perfect place to say your wedding vows and devote to eternal love. In our opinion, one of the most beautiful place for a reception for an intimate reception is the Maison Sylvie, a recreation place raised in the 17th century, encircled by gorgeous woods. Another option would be the stage gallery, the gallery of painting the large suites, or you can create a marquee that overlooks the chateau. The wedding of Karen & Sam was portrayed in that manner.

 

4. Chateau de Vaux le Vicomte

If you want to feel regal and to be surrounded by luxury, this refined historic venue is a monumental embodiment of nobility and opulence. The Chateau is only 50 minutes away from Paris, enjoying vast acres of land. We love its garden for a mesmerizing wedding ceremony experience and undoubtedly the ballroom for the reception. Visualize entering a high ceiling ballroom adorned with glamorous interior and chandeliers, just stellar!

5. Opera Garnier

Did you know that we can have a wedding ceremony and reception at Opera Garnier? Even though this awe-inspiring is not commonly available as a wedding venue in Paris, there is an option to get married at Opera Garnier in Paris. We adore the interior that is exuberating with aesthetic decor possibilities, just like the staircase decoration that we created for the lovely couple last September. It was one of the most iconic and memorable experiences!

6. Hotel le Marois

Seeking a venue that you can rent for your wedding in Paris? Then this strikingly beautiful hotel is the way for you to have an experience like no other in the center of the city. Feel the Parisian exquisiteness by exploring the majestic beauty of this hotel. High ceiling rooms, golden embellished interior, grand chandeliers, fine art beauty that would be an idyllic backdrop for your wedding reception. If you are a modern sophisticated couple who seeks ways to entwine the contemporary with the classic historic luxury, this would be a venue to consider.

7.  Shangri-la Paris

Do you want the signature landmark of Paris to be included in the views out of your window or balcony? This high-class stylish hotel that was ex-Maison of Napoleon’s nephew, has plenty of incredible room views upon the Eiffel Tower. In our opinion, the terrace is ideal for an elopement style ceremony or an intimate wedding. A haven for the modern romantic souls who channel the raw Parisian passion. The hotel’s le grand salon is artfully embellished with a gilded touch and also a wonderful choice for a wedding ceremony or dinner.

8.  Rodin Museum

If you aren’t sure what you love more whether a chateau-style or you want to stay in the city, then there is a way you can have both for your wedding in Paris. Rodin Museum is the best way to experience the best of two worlds: historical, and city life. We are in love with the gardens which offer scenic backdrops featuring magnificent architecture during your ceremony. For the dinner reception, the Hotel Biron will charm you with its archetypal stylishness and sophistication.

9.  Chateau de Champlatreux

Another mandatory chateau to consider is this one, which is nestled 45 minutes away from the city. It evokes a romance that you usually see in the movies. Think of Pride and Prejudice and Mr. Darcy. The vast garden stretches along with the estate grounds, always so elegantly trimmed. We adore the way this chateau architecture and garden scenery adorn bridal couples with epochal beauty and timelessness.

10. Chateau Bouffemont

A stunning estate that you can privately rent for your wedding in Paris! Even though it is distanced about 45 minutes from the city, that gives the chateau a serene atmosphere for your private love celebration. This is one of the venues that we are very familiar with because we have often done wedding ceremonies here. The garden is just so lovely, whimsical, and incredibly dreamy, a sanctuary for the romantic souls. We have frequently had outdoor and indoor floral decor experiences and we love to combine. For example for the wedding of Laura and Craig (link), because it was very warm during summer, we did the ceremony inside and the reception dinner firstly indoors – then when the sun was setting and the air became fresher we transferred outside. Everything was just magical.
